Senior Sitecore Developer

(Sitecore, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

Mapleton Hill developers work on a variety of projects throughout the year exposing them to new technologies. You'll be working in small teams, with ownership over projects, to deliver high quality results for our clients. For this position we're looking for experienced developers with a passion for Sitecore who, while primarily coding, can lead software teams and mentor younger developers.

What it's like to work at Mapleton Hill

  • You'll be working on development teams of 2 - 6 developers
  • You'll be working in an Agile Scrum environment
  • You'll typically be working on one project at a time
  • You'll be communicating directly with clients
  • You'll be writing code, unit testing, and doing peer code reviews
  • You'll be working on projects that typically last between 3 - 9 months

Required skills

  • 5+ years Enterprise Experience
  • Sitecore 8+
  • xDB
  • ASP.NET / C# / MVC
  • JavaScript (jQuery plus Node, Angular, or React)
  • HTML / CSS (Responsive Development)
  • Experience leading software teams
  • Experience making architecture decisions
  • Experience setting up automated builds and deploys

Bonus points if you know or have used

  • Azure
  • Xamarin or Native Mobile App Development
  • MongoDB
  • PowerBI

Our Hiring Process

Step 1: Apply - Send your resume to jobs@mapletonhill.net. We want to hear about your work experience, but are also interested in links to past projects, your personal website or portfolio, salary requirements, and anything else you'd like to tell us about yourself.

Step 2: Phone Interview - If we like what we see, we'll reach out to schedule a quick phone interview. On this call we will ask about your past work experience as well as some technical questions.

Step 3: C# Coding Exercise - If we feel that you have the relevant experience we will send you our take-home C# coding exercise. This is your opportunity to show us what clean code looks like to you.

Step 4: JavaScript Pair Programming - The last step in our hiring process is a JavaScript pair programing exercise. We have our applicants come into the office, write a little code, and discuss it with us. We're curious to see how you solve problems and to talk about the decisions you make when programming.
